Your Last Diet
Thank you for your interest in Ideal Protein!
This Diet is a 4 phase weight loss program designed to help stabilize the pancreas and blood sugar levels while burning fat and maintaining muscle mass.
This program assists people concerned with their weight, diabetes, cholesterol, and high blood pressure.
During phase one of the diet you would replace two meals and one snack a day with the protein packets. Then you would also fix yourself one meal that will have a high protein meat and a vegetable. You will be on phase 1 until you lose 90% of the weight you want to lose.
Then you will be on phase 2 until you lose the remaining 10% of the weight. During phase 2 you will be required to have two protein packets a day to replace breakfast and a snack.
To get started on this medically supervised diet you first need a referral from you Primary care Doctor to the Hutchinson Clinic Dietitians for weight loss. Then you will set up an appointment with the Dietitian and they will walk you through the process of the ideal protein diet. Once you have decided this is the correct program for you, there will be a weekly weigh in to monitor your progress. The results of this diet are very typical. We have several people that have already started this diet and everyone lost at least 4 pounds the first week.
Unfortunately this is not covered by insurance and it will be paid up front weekly. Your starter week will be a little more expensive, about $140, due to getting a week worth of the product and a one month supply of the vitamins that you are required to take. It will then be approximately $95 weekly while on phase one until you lose 90% of the weight you want to lose. On phase 2 it will cost about $70 weekly until you lose the remaining 10% of the weight. On phase 3 it will cost about $40. For those who are concerned with the cost of this diet, I encourage you to add up each item you consume a day and put a dollar amount with it. I think you will find it to be comparable with Ideal Protein which averages $14.00 per day.
