Clinical Interests: Dr. Julie Allen is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist who completed a fellowship in Women's Imaging. In January 2026, Dr. Allen began working as a dedicated breast radiologist at the Hutchinson Clinic. She specializes in screening mammography (including digital tomosynthesis 3D mammography), diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image guided procedures including breast biopsies and pre-operative localization procedures.
Dr. Allen is dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer and is working to bring world-class breast imaging closer to home for patients in and around Hutchinson. She is currently spearheading the introduction of breast MRI at the Hutchinson Clinic, aiming to provide advanced supplemental screening for women with dense breast tissue or a high lifetime risk of breast cancer.
