Clinical Interests: Dr. Voorman has a strong clinical focus on sinus surgery, including minimally invasive, office-based procedures for appropriately selected patients. He also has extensive expertise in surgical thyroid and parathyroid care, offering minimally invasive outpatient options whenever possible.
In addition to his subspecialty work, Dr. Voorman manages a broad range of general Ear, Nose, and Throat conditions. He has particular experience helping patients with chronic cough and reflux-related concerns, especially those who have felt unheard or misunderstood in previous medical encounters. His attentive, detail-oriented approach helps uncover the root of both serious and bothersome problems.
More about Dr. Voorman: Outside of medicine, Dr. Voorman and his wife are avid skiers who love spending time on the slopes with their children and grandchildren. They are also enthusiastic waterskiers and enjoy many days out on the boat. Passionate about the outdoors, they spend time hiking and occasionally backpacking, always looking forward to their next trip into the Rockies.
Dr. Voorman also enjoys trap and skeet shooting, and he is currently working on improving his golf game—hoping to lose fewer balls at Prairie Dunes.
“Ear, Nose and Throat is a remarkable specialty—we care for everyone, from infants to the elderly, addressing everything from simple concerns to serious issues like cancer, airway obstruction, or persistent bleeding. It offers a rewarding balance of clinic and surgery, and yes, we even get to sleep most nights. Because ENTs make up only a small fraction of all physicians, we see a true cross section of people from every walk of life, which is one of the things I value most about this work.”
